Does OpinionCamp use cookies?

Only if you turn on Allow only one vote per device. With that setting on, OpinionCamp stores a small cookie in the visitor’s browser when they vote, so the same person cannot vote twice in that poll from the same browser.

If the setting is off, which is the default, OpinionCamp does not set a cookie when someone votes.

The cookie is used only to keep your results honest. It is set by your own site and is not shared with anyone else.

Depending on where you and your visitors are based, you may need to mention this cookie in your site’s cookie or privacy notice. If you are unsure what your obligations are, check with someone familiar with the rules that apply to your site.
