How do I retire a poll and bring it back later?

Removing the Poll block from the page is all you need to do. The poll stops being visible to your visitors immediately, and the results are kept.

When you want it back, whether that is next week or next year:

1. Edit the page or post where you want the poll to appear.
2. Add a Poll block.
3. Click Select existing.
4. Choose the poll from your library.

The poll returns with its full history, and voting continues from where it left off. There is no need to create a copy of the poll somewhere, or to keep an unused page as a storage area. Your poll library already does that job.
