Previewing every poll state in the editor

A poll can look different depending on what is happening: before voting, after voting, when it is closed, and so on. The Editor preview setting lets you see and style each of these states without leaving the editor.

Open Editor preview in the block settings and pick a Preview state:

• Poll form: the normal voting form
• Results: how results look after voting
• After voting (message): the thank you message
• Closed: the poll with the closed banner
• Hidden: what happens when a closed poll is set to hide
• Error: how error messages look, such as when no choice is selected

This setting only affects the editor. It is not saved and does not change anything your visitors see. What visitors actually see is controlled by the poll’s Status and On submission settings.
