By default, anyone can vote in a poll more than once. If you want each visitor to vote only once, turn on Allow only one vote per device.
When someone votes, OpinionCamp saves a small cookie in their browser. If they come back and try to vote again from the same browser, the vote is refused and they see the message: You have already voted in this poll.
When the setting is on and a returning visitor has already voted, they see the results (or the thank you message) instead of the voting form.
Because this setting uses a cookie, you may want to mention it in your privacy or cookie notice. See Does OpinionCamp use cookies?
